Hello Photographers!

Welcome to Fern's Flowers — a hidden gem just outside (technically inside) Edmonton. Our property is a labour of love featuring a large cut flower garden in open fields.

Seasonal availability: Mid-July to mid-September, weather depending.

Hours:

Sessions run Tuesday through Sunday evenings, starting around 7PM during golden hour as our U-pick guests are heading out. The light is softer, the flowers glow, and you'll have the garden far more privately than during regular hours.

We book a maximum of two photography sessions per day to keep the experience peaceful for everyone.

Rates:

Standard session — 2 hours, one immediate family$100 + GST
Extended family session — 2 hours, up to 15 people$180 + GST
Additional time — any session type$55 + GST per hour

One family per session. A standard session covers one immediate family arriving together. An extended family session covers larger multi-household groups of up to 15 people.

We do not permit mini sessions. Each booking is for a single family. Photographers wishing to shoot multiple client families will need to book a separate session for each.

Standard sessions — book online
Choose your date and pay directly through the scheduler below. That's all you need to do.

Extended family sessions — email us
These aren't bookable online. Email fernsflowersgarden@gmail.com with your preferred date and group size, and we'll confirm availability and send e-transfer details.

Need more than two hours?
Additional time can't be added at checkout. Email us before your session and we'll arrange the extra hour by e-transfer.

Garden Guidelines

To help us keep the garden beautiful for everyone, we kindly ask that you:

  • Stay on the designated pathways and avoid walking through the flower beds.

  • Please don't pick flowers during photography sessions. If you or your clients would like a bouquet, book a U-pick experience through our website — we provide an orientation showing guests how to harvest properly.

  • Clean up fully before leaving if you use props, confetti, petals, or other decorations.

  • Respect the garden, other guests, and our staff during your visit.

Dogs:

Dogs are welcome for photos, but not in the garden or garden beds. Photos with dogs are welcome:

  • At the front entrance of the garden

  • Along the main pathway

  • Inside the garden, if the dog is small enough to be carried

Please keep dogs leashed at all times and clean up after them.

Weather:

Sessions continue in light rain. In the event of severe weather, we'll work with you to reschedule.
